Capturing all the classic attributes of peach-eating, the Summerset closes out summer with consistent sweetness beautifully balanced with just enough acid to make the layered flavor of this late-season peach shine. The Summerset is a delightfully sweet peach to wind down the peach harvest.
The Summerset has a nice, firm texture that holds up when frozen, and it's among our favorite peaches to bake with. Beyond eating one of these yellow peaches out of hand, they're ideal for canning, so you can enjoy their wonderful, complex flavors well past the season's end! Summerset peaches are available from late August to early September.
